Huife Hotel and Hot Springs

The variety of temperature in the waters ensures a proper individual treatment, which is translated into rest and physical recovery.

Half an hour away from the City of Pucón, through paved roads boasting great beauty, there lies the venue known as Hotel y Termas de Huife. This is a perfect place to make a stop and get away from work routines and worries.

The journey is amusing. It covers hills upholstered with short green grass. As we entered the venue, we noticed four outdoor hot spring pools were awaiting nestled by the Liucura River. We chose to try them and then have a rest on their comfortable deck chairs while listening to the murmur of the water and beholding the neighboring woods.

The bottom of the pools is made of dark stones and the temperature of their waters is variable. We followed the advice of the staff as to how long to stay inside each of them. We began with the colder ones and then moved onto the warmer ones. The river is easily accessed so guests may take cold baths in its waters and then go back to the pools.

The circuit is completed with a hydrotherapeutic pool, where we experienced the bubble bed, its cervical massage cascade and hydro massage as well as the area where visitors may swim upstream. Once we had taken a rest on the deck chairs, we felt physical plenitude. The tiredness had been left behind and our bodies felt renewed.

Located at an independent area, the spa offers several relaxation techniques even including mud and algae, which add vitality to the hot spring baths and the relax areas. The restaurant overlooking the whole venue serves international cuisine, thus completing the services available, especially for those visitors who choose to stay at the comfortable cabins inside the venue.

The park features paths that go across the native forest and become part of the exquisite environment. A refreshing walk amid cinnamon and myrtle trees that give off their typical aroma made us feel we were immersed in nature.

We resolved to stay at the facilities during the whole day and had the chance to experience what we had been told we would. We managed the right level of wellbeing within a pleasant environment with the warm protection provided by these natural hot spring waters.

We retraced our steps through the same meadows on our way back, enjoying the wonderful panoramic views and feeling the necessary harmony to continue with our daily lives.
