Huife Hotel and Hot Springs
The variety of water temperatures allows for a personalized thermal experience that translates into deep relaxation and overall physical well-being.
Just half an hour from the City of Pucón, along scenic paved roads of remarkable natural beauty, lies the Hotel & Termas de Huife complex, an ideal retreat to pause from daily routines and leave everyday worries behind.
The journey itself is pleasant, winding through gently rolling hills covered in neatly trimmed green pastures. Upon arrival, four outdoor thermal pools set along the banks of the Liucura River welcome visitors. We chose this area to immerse ourselves in the mineral-rich waters, alternating between soothing baths and moments of rest in comfortable lounge chairs, accompanied by the gentle murmur of the river and the calming view of the surrounding forest.
The pools are lined with dark stones, and each maintains a different temperature. Following the staff’s recommendations, we respected the suggested immersion times, beginning with the milder pools and gradually progressing to those with higher temperatures. Guests may also step down to the river and alternate the thermal baths with a brief dip in its refreshing cold waters.
The experience continues with a hydrotherapy pool featuring bubble beds, cascading neck massage jets, underwater massage stations, and a counter-current swimming area. After relaxing in the reclining loungers, the feeling of renewal was complete: fatigue had disappeared, and the body felt fully restored.
In a separate area, the spa offers a range of relaxing treatments using mud and algae, adding vitality to the thermal experience and enhancing the dedicated relaxation spaces. The on-site restaurant, overlooking the complex, serves an internationally inspired menu that complements the stay, especially for those who choose to overnight in its comfortable cabins.
The park includes walking trails that wind through the native forest, further enriching the natural setting. Surrounded by canelo and arrayán trees perfuming the air, a restorative walk deepened our sense of connection with nature.
Having decided to spend the entire day enjoying the facilities, we were able to confirm what the Huife team had promised. We reached a profound state of well-being in a harmonious environment, embraced by the warmth of its natural thermal waters.
On the return journey across the same open meadows, taking in the wide panoramic views, we felt physically balanced and mentally refreshed, ready to return to everyday life.
