Before the creation of Gran Hotel Termas de Chillán, there were other significant hotels, such as the Pirigallo and the Shangai-lá, as well as other condos that accommodated thousands of visitors for years.

Even if this has been a tourist destination for decades, the majestic presence of this building has become an attraction itself.

Standing 1,600 meters above sea level, not only is it the base of operations for one of the most important ski resorts in Chile, but it also contains one of the most beautiful hot spring venues in the country.

At present, Gran Hotel Termas de Chillán has 120 rooms with cozy atmosphere for a very pleasant stay.

However, it is the common spaces which stand out above all the rest. They include two restaurants that, in addition to having an excellent gastronomic offer, captivate visitors with a panoramic view of the forest and the mountains, very hard to imagine unless one is standing right there.

Excellent salmon, beef and lamb dishes may be tasted by customers surrounded by quietness in its purest state.

The natural pools of thermal and volcanic water with healing properties are the great attraction at this beautiful hotel.
